Gobi Heat® is a 100% female-owned company based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where cold weather isn’t optional, it’s part of everyday life.
We create heated and cooling gear designed for real conditions, built to perform whether you’re on the job, outdoors, or on the move. Every piece is made with a focus on function, comfort, and reliability you can count on.
Where It All Began
Gobi Heat® was founded by Jaye Genung, who always joked that being cold was part of her DNA: “My eyes are blue, and I’m always cold.”
Tired of missing out on outdoor activities and frustrated by the limitations of existing heated gear, she set out to create something better, apparel that was not only warm, but functional, comfortable, and designed for real life.
What started with a single idea has grown into a full line of heated and cooling gear trusted by hundreds of thousands of customers over the past decade.
Why Gobi
Gobi Heat® is named after the Gobi Desert, one of the most extreme environments on earth, with temperatures ranging from 122ºF to -27ºF.
That range is a constant reminder that conditions can change fast, and being prepared matters. Like our namesake, we design gear built to adapt, perform, and keep you comfortable no matter what the day brings.
